What ZeroMDroid and this website do, and do not do, with your data.
Last updated 7 October 2026
In short
- ZeroMDroid has no accounts and no cloud. Your files go straight between your own devices.
- The apps send nothing about you, your files or how you use them to us. There is no analytics and no crash reporting.
- On phones, the ads are shown by Google AdMob, which can collect data under Google’s own terms. Where the law asks, you are asked first.
- If you ask for a Pro licence we keep your e-mail address and the devices the licence is on. We keep nothing about payments.
- This website uses no cookies and no trackers.
1. Who we are
This policy covers the ZeroMDroid apps for computers and phones and this website. They are published by Fabrixly (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at admin@fabrixly.com.
2. What the apps do with your data
- Your files are sent directly from one of your devices to another, over your local network (Wi-Fi) or a USB cable. They are not sent to us or to any server we run, and we cannot see them.
- Pairing. When you pair two devices they exchange a device name, the type of device and a certificate (a kind of ID). This stays between those two devices.
- Whiteboards are kept on your devices and shared only with the devices you have paired.
- Camera. Photos and videos taken in the app are saved to a paired device and are never uploaded anywhere else.
- Free time. The minutes you have left, and the day’s counts, are kept in a small file on your device. They are not sent anywhere.
- Permissions. The apps ask only for what a feature needs: your folders and drives (to show and save files), the local network (to find your devices), the camera and microphone (the camera feature), notifications (a receiving service on Android).
- No analytics. The apps contain no analytics, no advertising identifiers of ours and no crash reporting.
- Beam shares files over your local network with a browser you approve. Anyone on that network who has the secret link still needs your approval.
3. Ads
- On computers there is no ad network. Any message shown while you earn free time is ZeroMDroid’s own, bundled in the app, and nothing about you is tracked.
- On phones the apps use Google AdMob. AdMob and Google may collect and process data such as your device’s advertising identifier, IP address, device and app information, and your interactions with ads, to show and measure ads and prevent fraud. This is governed by Google’s advertising policies and privacy policy.
- Your choice. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and other places where the law requires it, the app shows Google’s consent message before any ad is requested. You can review or change your choice in Settings › Ad privacy choices. On iPhone, tracking needs your permission through the system prompt. You can also limit ad personalisation in your phone’s system settings.
- With a Pro licence, no ad network is started.
- ZeroMDroid is not directed at children.
4. Licences and requests
Our licence server is part of this website. It is used only for the following.
- When you ask for a licence (in the app or on the licence page) we receive and store what you type: your e-mail address, optionally your name, the term and system you are interested in, a message, and the app version. We use it to answer you and to make your licence. The licence is kept under your e-mail address.
- When you enter a key for a licence that covers several devices, the app sends the key, a device code (the first digits of a fingerprint of the device’s certificate), the device’s name and type, and the app version. We store, for each licence, the devices it is on and when each was last seen, so that the number of devices can be kept to what was agreed and so that you can move the licence to a new device. The app asks again every few hours while it is open. A key that is locked to one device is checked on the device only and sends nothing.
- When you release a device or ask us to cancel a licence we record the request.
- The licence record holds your e-mail address, name, the term, the key’s id, dates and any note we add, and whether it was cancelled.
- We do not collect or store payment details in the apps or on this website. If you pay for a licence, how is agreed with you by e-mail.
5. This website
- No cookies, no analytics, no advertising, and nothing loaded from other websites (no external fonts, scripts or trackers).
- The apps themselves are kept on GitHub (a release of the ZeroMDroid-Apps repository). When you press Download, your browser goes to GitHub, which sees your address and what you download under its own privacy statement. Nothing about that click is sent to us.
- The site’s own server does not store your IP address. The company that hosts it, or a network service in front of it, may keep ordinary access logs (address, time, page) for security and for a limited period.
- If you click an e-mail link, your own e-mail program and provider handle the message.
6. Why we use data, and for how long
- To provide the licence you asked for (a contract): your e-mail address, name, the licence and its devices, for as long as the licence exists and afterwards for as long as the law requires us to keep records.
- To keep the service safe (our legitimate interests): rate limits, and records of requests, kept for a limited time.
- Ads on phones are shown with your consent where the law requires it.
7. Who else sees data
We do not sell your data. Data about licences is processed by us and by the service providers that host this website and handle our e-mail. On phones, Google processes ad data as described above. We disclose data when the law requires.
8. Your rights
You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, or give you a copy. Write to admin@fabrixly.com. We answer within a reasonable time (within one month where the law sets that). If you are in the EEA or the UK you may also complain to your data protection authority. Deleting a licence record cancels the licence.
9. Security
Devices talk over HTTPS with certificates pinned when you pair them. Licence keys are signed and checked on your device. The licence server stores only what is described above, and licences cannot be made from it. No system is perfectly secure, and you should keep your licence key to yourself.
10. International transfers
Our hosting and e-mail providers and Google may process data in other countries. Where the law requires safeguards for that, they are in place through those providers’ own terms.
11. Changes
If we change this policy we change the date above, and for important changes we say so in the app or on the home page.
